The B.E students are allowed to borrow two books and M.Tech students are allowed to borrow three books at a time and can retain it for a maximum period of 15 days and return it on due date. The period of retention may be extended or curtailed by the Librarian, according to importance & demand of the book.
If the books are not returned before the due date a fine of Rs.1.00. Per day, per book will be levied.
If the book is lost or damaged beyond repairs, the book with replacement charges. If the book is out of print or has to be imported the student shall bear all the cost as decided by the principal.
Student are not allowed to take any kind of files, printed matter (i.e. personal books) umbrellas, mobile phone or any other articles inside the library. They however can take only one note book or some paper sheets for taking down notes.
Do not keep calculator, money, Mobile and any other valuable things in the students property counter
Students shall maintain perfect silence and should not wander about in the library
The borrowing cards issued to the students are “not transferable” and should be maintained for entire academic year. Loss of this card will result in a penalty of Rs.50 (fifty) /card for duplicate & non returned borrowing cards.
Group discussion & using Mobile phones in the library are strictly prohibited.
Students are compulsorily return their borrowers cards to get NO DUES from the library.
